When I think of autumn, I associate it with warm colors like deep reds, crispy oranges, and golden yellows. For some reason, though, the connotation of October seems to bring with it a different color. Maybe it’s the sudden influx of chilly weather, or the increasingly cloud-filled skies that tints the month with a feeling of blue but, regardless, this cool color adds to my color palette this fall-inspired by natural colors like blues, greens, and browns.
For this specific look. I created it by pairing a navy romper I thrifted in Colorado (for $6!!) with my mom’s denim jacket and accessorized with my trusty Calvin Klein booties, a belt I also thrifted in CO, and some geometric earrings from FIT’s Style Shop. Although this outfit is a little cold for NYC’s dropping temps, switching out a romper for a jumpsuit or adding a pair of tights is a great way to adapt this look!
