This past week has been one of the craziest weeks of my life. From AP tests to graduation to my graduation party, it’s been one heck of a wild ride. It’s kind of weird how it works though. I mean, you spend months planning out something that lasts a few hours. And then it’s all over. Four years of your life are over just like that, and suddenly you’re alone in this big, scary world. Not all alone, though. Of course you’ll have your family and friends there to support you, but this time it’s different. This time you have to actually make all the decisions for and by yourself. This thing you’ve always dreamed of, independence, is finally around the corner, but it’s starting to look less appealing than it used to. It feels so different, but nothing has even really changed yet. At least not for a few more months. And then it’ll be real.
Instead of a typical OOTD post (although there is an OOTD in it) I decided to dedicate this one to graduation, to finishing this chapter of my life and moving on to a much bigger and scarier (and more exciting) one. And to all the people who have supported and loved me along the way, there’s a lot more than just the people in these pictures, but I appreciate every single person.
Aaaand in case you were wondering about my graduation outfit, I wore a Badgley Mischka dress and some simple gold pumps from Kohl’s! I originally wanted a lace pastel dress but decided I should push myself out of my comfort zone and try something a little different. Plus, the dress was like $40 from the clearance Dillards so major score!!
