New Years Resolutions That Are Actually Attainable

2018 is almost here! Which means it’s time to make a New Year’s resolution to “lose weight” or “try harder.”

Or maybe don’t do that? The first step in making the perfect New Year’s resolutions is to not make any, at least in my opinion. A lot of resolutions end up going to waste and just make you feel worse about yourself;you spend a bunch of money on a gym membership just to forget about it in February and never think about your resolution to lose weight again. I think the key to having a great year is not to try and control everything that happens, but to roll with the punches, cuz we all know life throws a lot of punches. To turn bad things into good and just appreciate what you have. But, if you are the kind of person that HAS to have a few New Year’s resolutions… here are a few ideas for you.

  1. Take more hikes(or just walks)
  2. Start a diary
  3. Start a song diary(pick one song that fits you each day, put it in a playlist, and listen to your 2018 at the end of the year
  4. Drink more water
  5. Sleep more
  6. Take a few minutes a day to remember the good things in your life
  7. Buy more shoes(sorry I had to)
  8. Find a new hobby(ex: blogging, exercising, painting, etc.)
  9. Take time to JUST FOCUS ON YOU
  10. Love more
