Lately, I’ve been seriously envying Parisian style.
You know, the stereotypical, effortless look that just oozes French fashion? I’ve always swayed towards simpler styles anyways, although I do like to try out trends, I never wear many accessories, and I don’t want to make a trend seem too over-the-top. Maybe that’s why French girl style interests me so much, it’s classic, down-to-earth, but still somehow looks insanely chic. So today I thought I would show you guys some ways to dress with that je ne sais quoi French style.
I think it’s a crime to talk about French style and not mention stripes. While I dislike thick stripes, a thin-striped shirt like this pairs perfectly with some jeans shorts and a simple bag @tildalindstam
Ah, summer dresses. I absolutely adore this dress because of the delicate flowers contrasting with the poppy red color and the breezy, comfortable look of it. To keep it simple, just pair with sandals, sunglasses, and messy waves @thomsenmichaela
When I think of summer style, I don’t typically think of jeans because they’re just too hot. But every French girl has a pair of mom jeans on repeat, and summer is no exception. A light tank like this keeps you cool @jeannedamas
Parisian girls know how to get down to business. This outfit is perfect for work or a more formal occasion. Make a black skirt more interesting with (once again) stripes and a pair of killer pumps
What’s a summer style post without a swimsuit? This super cute outfit plays on two huge trends at the moment, gingham pattern and pops of yellow. Match your suit to your shoes and use military shorts as a coverup for a classic retro vibe
