Sweaters and selfishness

Sweaters and selfishness

I know it’s been a long time… but now that the show is done, I can start posting more regularly! Before I get into this look, I just want to talk with you guys for a moment. It’s not something I usually do, but if I can’t say what’s on my mind on here, then what’s the point?

I think, in today’s society, so many people are focused on themselves that they forget to think about other people. Don’t get me wrong, loving and caring for yourself is SO important and is underrated. But, that said, there’s this magical thing that happens when you care for other people. And I’m not talking about just being friends with someone. I’m talking about putting the effort into the friendship or relationship in order to make that person feel special and important. Because everyone wants to feel important, and I’m not exaggerating when I say everyone. No matter how small or big your effort is, it really goes a long way. And not only does it make the other person feel good, it makes you feel good about yourself inside, which is just as important. So, please, if you’re in a rut in a friendship or relationship or any kind of ship, get off your high horse and show them that you care. Alriight, now on to the look. This look is my casual Saturday shopping outfit with the loose sweater and ripped jeans. The blue purse and booties polish it up a bit and help to transition it into spring.
